Knee-jerk Reaction

Knee-jerk Reaction is a painting about jealousy and its toxic energy. It comprises elements symbolizing control and imprisonment, love and regret, and is representative of the suffocating grip that jealousy can have. This painting was among the first symbolist works I produced, which were based on love, merging robotics, mechanics, and the human condition.

  • Oil on canvas

  • 36”x48”

  • (1998)

This painting was on the cover of Applied Arts magazine (1998); exhibited and sold at Yves Laroche Gallery in Montreal (1998).
