Preparing to Moult

Preparing to Moult explores the notion of death and reincarnation. As a symbol of continuity and infinity, the nautilus shell surrounds a soul crying out, tormented against the vicissitudes of life. It is accompanied by a grasshopper which audibly guides its passage through its many incarnations in an attempt to liberate it from the attachments and illusions of this world.
