Starting Something You Can't Finish

Starting Something You Can't Finish is the first of a series of symmetrical paintings I produced, which were inspired by an anomalous experience I had during deep meditation, where I was able to feel my chakras as "non-physical" physical sensations. The heart chakra is particularly sensitive. It became debilitatingly painful as its aperture felt like it was being stretched beyond its limits at all times, with no solution to how to stop this constant and painful irritation.
