About the Artist

I am a nature lover at heart, with an obsession for mechanisms and automatons of all kinds. My work grew out of a combined fascination with biology and science fiction, reflecting our growing merger with and dependency on technology in so many different ways. I am also a bit of a philosopher, which has me highlight questions about our human nature, focusing on themes such as love, loss, hope and despair. These I combine with robotics to create a style that is unique unto myself, as I am still forever a symbolist and surrealist.

About the Art

AI is here to stay. My artwork focuses on our relationship with technology as we increasingly merge with it while our human nature remains the same. For thousands of years, we have continued to live out a human condition which has been written about and painted by artists since the dawn of humanity. Our personal evolution is slow despite advances with AI and other technologies, and I feel the truth is, our humanity will not be lost as we continue to merge with them.

“The voyage of discovery is not in searching for new landscapes, but in having new eyes.”

— Marcel Proust
